The Awareness Tap is a multidisciplinary collective of filmmakers, theatre makers, social scientists, youth practitioners, and creatives united by a passion for change-making. They create films and theatre as acts of resistance, raising awareness, amplifying underrepresented stories, and sparking conversations that drive systemic change. Their work spans youth and community engagement, social reform, and research and policy, with a particular focus on violence affecting young people and widening access to creative opportunities.


The Awareness Tap had a powerful mission and diverse expertise, but its brand presence lacked clarity and consistency. Their identity needed to reflect both the rigour of their research and the creativity of their storytelling, while making their services clear to partners, communities, and funders. The challenge was to distil their complex, multidisciplinary work into a visual and verbal brand that felt both accessible and authoritative.

The Approach

We began with a Brand Clarity Sprint to refine their positioning and messaging, ensuring their core purpose and values were clearly articulated. This was followed by the creation of a Brand Launch Kit, establishing consistent visual guidelines, tone of voice, and key brand assets that balanced creativity with credibility.

A Website Kit was then developed to translate the refreshed brand into a clean, user-friendly digital presence. The design simplified navigation, making it easy for visitors to understand The Awareness Tap’s services, explore their research, and engage with their storytelling projects. Subtle creative elements were woven into the site to reflect their artistic roots without overshadowing their research focus.

The Outcome

The rebrand delivered a unified identity that communicates both the heart and the intellect behind The Awareness Tap’s work.
